Story Behind the Song:
There is a story in the Bible about a woman who was caught in adultery. This type of act was punishable by being stoned to death. This is her story of how Jesus came to her rescue. He looked upon her with love and forgiveness and provided guidance to those around her with the words, “He who has sinned not, cast the first stone.” They had no choice but to walk away. He reached for her hand, helped her up and changed her life forever.

Lyrics

I Don’t Condemn You
Music and Lyrics by Kassie Tyers

Been caught red-handed, scared out of my mind
I have nothing left to hide behind
If I could go back if we could rewind

Exposed for all that I am
They chose my life to condemn
But Jesus said to me

I don’t condemn you, so put down your stones
I don’t condemn you, so put down your own
I don’t condemn you, so go sin no more
I see right past where you were before

I don’t think that I understand
You are here beside me a perfect man
So you have the right to throw the first stone
But grace and mercy to me you have shown

I don’t deserve a thing
But now to me you’re singing

Leave your old life behind you, I’ll make you new
Pick up your cross and follow, I’ll give you life abundantly

I don’t condemn you, so put down your stones
I don’t condemn you, so put down your own
I don’t condemn you, so go sin no more
I see right past where you were before
I don’t condemn you
I don’t condemn you
I don’t condemn you
I see right past where you were before
My grace empowers you to sin no more.
